Introduction to the TVSS Price Guide

Please see our updated Price Guide for 2026 below. It’s important you read the guide carefully, as skin surgery is complex and not all lesions can be priced the same. That said, we’ve tried to include most common scenarios to give you a clear idea of likely costs.

Returning patients — including those who had a self-pay vasectomy — receive their consultation with Dr Kittel free of charge.

We take pride in keeping our pricing accurate and transparent. Our aim is for 99% of listed prices to be correct. If you spot anything that seems outdated, do let us know!

Transparent, Affordable Pricing Is Our Mission

We aim to be cost-competitive without compromising on the quality of care. At TVVS, we’re working to reduce the cost of community-based minor surgery while maintaining full transparency. Few, if any, providers offer this level of clarity in pricing. You are unlikely to find significantly lower prices elsewhere offering comparable clinical quality.

To avoid misunderstandings, we ask that you read the pricing information below carefully.

Please start by reviewing the first three sections under “General Pricing Information.” Also note: our consultation fee is just £65, which includes a medical opinion from a qualified doctor and a thorough evaluation of your treatment options. Finally, please also read on the bottom the section “General Pricing Information”. It is very important to be aware of it.

Specific Pricing Information

🩺 A Clinical Assessment for Minor Surgery

Our assessments are always carried out by a doctor — usually the surgeon who would treat you — to ensure you receive full clinical advice and clarity on your condition and treatment options.

Returning patients are those who have previously had surgery or a self-pay vasectomy with us.

💳 Assessment Fee: £65 / Free

The standard fee for a clinical assessment is £65. If you go on to book and pay for your procedure within four weeks of your appointment, this £65 will be deducted from the cost of your surgery. Please note our consultation fee of £65 is kept low to allow people to get an opinion on a skin lesion without paying a lot. However, if additional services are required there may be additional charges as outlined below.

To make the most of your consultation time, we kindly ask that you read the information forms we send and watch the accompanying videos beforehand. This allows us to focus on any questions you may have and ensure a clear, productive discussion.

If you feel you would benefit from a more detailed conversation, or if you are still deciding which procedure is right for you, we recommend booking an extended / medical consultation, which is available at £130.

Returning patients, who had surgery with us in the past, receive a free assessment – and still get the £65 discount – effectively saving on each visit.

Exceptions: The discount does not apply for:

  • Follow-up Xanthelasma treatment within 3 months (already discounted by 50%)
  • Patients requiring cortisone injections

Medical Consultation £ 130

Occasionally we recommend medical rather than surgical treatments or refer to another speciality. We will then invoice another £65 for the additional work. This will also include a prescription where appropriate. Review appointments are held at £100, which includes a prescription.

❗ If You Miss a Free Appointment

We experience frequent no-shows for free appointments. Even if no charge was made, the value of the appointment is still £65. A missed free appointment will incur a £35 no-show fee payable before booking another slot. Please note, free appointments for returning patients cannot be booked online. The system is not clever enough. They will have to be booked over the phone.

🎥 Before Your Appointment

Please:

  • Watch the video below to prepare
  • Read and complete the application and pre-consent form
  • Review the pre-surgical preparation form sent after your appointment

🛑 If We Cannot Proceed

If we are unable to offer surgery, we will explain why and offer signposting to another service. You’ll receive a short summary email for referral purposes.

⚠️ If We’re Concerned About Cancer

If a lesion appears suspicious, we will recommend a referral:

  • To your GP with a letter requesting a 2-week-wait NHS referral
  • Or to a private specialist (e.g. dermatologist) for urgent review

🔬 Inadvertent Removal of a Cancerous Lesion

If a lesion we remove turns out to be malignant:

  • We will contact you and your GP
  • Provide your lab report
  • Issue a letter and arrange follow-up or referral if needed. There may be additional costs in the region of £250 for this work which includes liaising with lab specialists, the MDT meeting and ensuring all work around the issue has been safely completed.

🖥️ If a Scan Is Required

Sometimes we need to base our decision on imaging results. We have a reasonably priced ultrasound agreement with Bridge Clinic, Maidenhead, which is currently £285. For other diagnostics, we will write to your GP. The referral for a scan is free if you come back to us for surgery, otherwise if you look for services elsewhere we charge a referral fee of £40.

🧑‍⚕️ Dermatology Input

Occasionally, we may advise seeing a dermatologist before mole or skin lesion removal. This costs around £300. If the lesion is benign, we proceed with removal. If not, the dermatologist will refer you to cancer services. The referral is free if you come back to us for surgery, otherwise we charge a referral fee of £40.

💊 Private Prescriptions

We provide free prescriptions related to surgery (e.g. pre-op antibiotics). For unrelated issues:

  • Prescription fee: £40
  • Prescription change: £20

Prescriptions are issued via CloudRx or digital token and can be used at most pharmacies. Many cost about the same as NHS prescriptions plus shipping.

Note: We do not prescribe controlled drugs (e.g. morphine, tramadol).

📋 Additional Services (Additional Cost)

  • Repeat consultation or prescription: £65
  • Referral letter £40 unless it is for a pre-surgical assesment with our service.
  • Extended consultation (If you would prefer not to complete the forms or watch the videos online, or simply feel you would like more time to talk things through, an extended consultation may be the better option for you): £130
  • No-show charge for any consultation: £35

📄 Paper-Based Support (Non-Digital Services)

If we must provide printed forms or support non-digital patients, additional time and admin costs apply. We advise using a family member to assist with digital forms where possible to avoid these extra costs.

🌍 Translation Services

If your English is limited, please bring a trusted translator. We can also use AI / google translate. If not possible:

  • Remote translator + consultation: £240
  • Translator during surgery: +£250

Translation is subject to availability.

🔬 Examinations in the Laboratory

Laboratory analysis is considered best practice for all skin lesions and is required under clinical governance guidelines. However, as part of our shared decision-making approach, there is flexibility if the clinical picture is clear or the patient prefers not to proceed with lab testing. Certain lesions, like dark moles and cysts and lesions looking odd under dermatoscope always have to be sent to the laboratory. Dr Kittel will advise you about this during the consultation.

Lab costs:

  • First lesion: £130
  • Each additional lesion: £65

Just like our surgical fees, lab pricing is structured to offer significant discounts when multiple lesions are sent for analysis during the same session.

If you and your clinician decide that a laboratory examination is not necessary, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer confirming this decision.

Note: Occasionally, the laboratory may apply an additional charge. If this happens, we will contact you with the reason and request the extra amount separately. This can take up to 6 months following the completion of the work, particularly in rare or difficult cases.

⏱️ Removing a Larger Number of Lesions — Discounted Timed Appointments

We offer timed appointments specifically for shave excision and electrodessication procedures. These are ideal for patients needing treatment for multiple minor skin issues in one go — such as:

  • Warts
  • Milia
  • Skin tags
  • Campbell-de-Morgan spots
  • Other similar benign skin lesions

Rather than charging per lesion (which would be costly for high numbers), we provide a minimum lesion guarantee and often treat significantly more during your appointment — depending on comfort, anxiety levels, and cooperation.

🚫 What’s Not Included

This offer does not apply to any lesions that require:

  • Excision
  • Sutures or repairs
  • Laboratory testing

Those types of lesions are always individually priced for safety and clinical accuracy.

Lipoma Removal Costs (Excludes Lab & Suture Removal)

Below is our transparent pricing for Lipoma removal. These prices exclude laboratory costs (which are often not needed for small Lipomas) and do not include suture removal.

Fixed-Price Lipomas (No Lab Required)

  • Arms, under 4cm: £340 / £275 / £110
  • Thighs, under 4cm: £370 / £300 / £135
  • Upper/Mid Back (only if superficial and under 3cm, otherwise bespoke pricing), Scalp, Buttocks (under 3cm): £510 / £440 / £275
  • Lower-Mid Back, under 3cm: £450 / £385 / £220
  • Chest, Abdomen, under 3cm: £400 / £330 / £165
  • Sternum/Breast (small): £450 / £275 / £220

Note: We refer to the palpable diameter (what can be felt), not the visible size. What appears small may actually be larger underneath the skin.

🧮 Bespoke-Priced Lipomas

  • Large (5–15cm): £550–£1100+ (our record: 3kg Lipoma)
  • Forehead: £550–£900
  • Shoulder: £550–£900
  • Lower leg/knee: Often require scanning to confirm diagnosis
  • Neck and face: £550–£1100+ depending on size

Important: Lipomas over 5cm typically require lab analysis and sometimes an MRI scan before removal.

🩺 Cyst Removal Pricing (excludes lab costs and stitch removal)

Most cysts should be sent to the laboratory for analysis. Approximately 1 in 10 “cysts” are found to be something different — often benign tumours of another origin — and may require regular monitoring. We strongly advise against choosing providers that do not send your cyst to the lab, even if their pricing appears lower. The prices below do not include laboratory costs. Also, stitch removal is not included in the prices listed, because many people chose not to come back for stitch removal. We will supply stitch removal kits for free. Alternatively many GP nurses are happy to remove stitches.

Note: The visible size of a cyst may not reflect its true depth. We assess the palpable (felt) size, not just what is seen on the surface — the “tip of the iceberg.”

💡 Fixed-Price Cysts

  • Very small surface cysts (i.d. body or scrotum up to 2mm): £340 / £275 / £55
Lab costs not included – see lab section*
  • Small surface/deeper cysts (arms, legs =1cm): £450 / £385 / £220
Lab costs not included – see lab section*
  • Scrotal cysts requiring excision and stitching start at: £360 / £295 / £135, larger cysts may be £55-£110 more expensive, rarely more.
  • Scalp cysts:
    – Up to 1cm: £425 / £360 / £195
    – 2–3cm: £480 / £410 / £245
    – Larger: £550–£1000 (bespoke, may need scan)
Lab costs not included – see lab section*
  • Body cysts:
    – Up to 1cm and superficial: approx. £450 / £385 / £220
    – 2–3cm: approx. £535–£620 / £480 – £550 / £300 – £385
    – Larger: £550–£1000 (bespoke)
  • Upper Back Cysts: £550 – £1000 bespoke pricing. Enquire for 2nd cysts.
Lab costs not included – see lab section*

Revision surgery (for regrown cysts) requires wider excision and is priced individually, often higher due to increased complexity.

🧾 Bespoke-Priced Cysts (£550–£1000+)

  • Cysts on the face
  • Cysts in the neck not just under the skin
  • Cysts on breasts, vulva, buttocks (oftenin the lower regions of bespoke pricing)
  • Deep upper back cysts or very large cysts in general
  • Cysts on the lower arms and legs, hands and feet (may require specialist orthopaedic surgeon)

All pricing is based primarily on the time and care required to remove your lesion safely and professionally.

*Please refer to the earlier section on laboratory fees for cost details.

Cost of Medical Treatment (Non-Surgical)

If your infected cyst or abscess is suitable for medical management, the cost of treatment is £150.

This fee includes:

  • A full clinical assessment

  • Prescription of appropriate antibiotics, if indicated

  • One follow-up appointment

The follow-up can take place either:

  • Over the phone, or

  • Face to face in clinic

The cost is the same regardless of whether the follow-up is remote or in person.

Medical
treatment is appropriate in selected cases, particularly where the
infection is caught early, symptoms are mild, or there is no significant
collection of pus requiring drainage. If surgical treatment later
becomes necessary, this would be discussed separately.

Cost of Incision and Drainage

The cost of incision and drainage typically ranges between £390 and £790, depending on the size, location and complexity of the abscess.

The total cost is made up of:

  • The initial consultation and assessment – £60

  • The surgical procedure (incision and drainage) – typically £390 – £750

  • Six follow-up nurse appointments for dressing changes (valued at £50 per visit)

Because abscesses are left open to heal from the inside out, these follow-up appointments are an important and expected part of treatment.

If fewer than six nurse appointments are required, any unused appointments can be refunded.

If additional appointments are needed beyond the six included, these are charged at £50 per visit.

It is important to note that this fee does not include the later removal of the underlying cyst, if one is present. As explained above, once the infection has fully settled, a second planned procedure may be recommended to remove the cyst wall. This procedure is usually less expensive than incision and drainage because it does not normally require multiple nurse follow-up appointments.

We will always advise you clearly about expected healing time, follow-up needs, and the possibility of later cyst removal before proceeding with treatment, so you can make an informed decision.

Please note Incision and Drainage is not a consistent service offered by Thames Valley Surgical Services as it includes making appointments available at short notice. Our business hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. If you require help outside these hours, please enquire with a local private hospital, call NHS 111 or go to A&E depending on the severity of the cyst / abscess symptoms.

🏷️ Skin Tag Removal Pricing (Excludes Lab Costs*)

We remove skin tags using shave excision, a quick and effective method with minimal discomfort. Lab testing is not usually required — but if it is, see the laboratory section above for pricing.

Also, if you have multiple skin tags, please look at the section about “Timed appointments” above, which may be significantly less expensive

🔹 Small Skin Tags

  • Neck or body (1–2mm): £295 / £230 / £35
  • Face: £355 / £290 / £85 (rarely more unless complex)

🔸 Large Skin Tags (Requiring Excision & Suturing)

When a tag is palpable under the skin (has a deeper root), a full excision is required. These are priced between:

  • Typical range: £340 / £275 / £110 to £450 / £385 / £220

*If a skin tag is sent for laboratory testing, please refer to the lab pricing section above.

👁️ Xanthelasma (Cholesterol Deposit) Removal Pricing

We offer two different treatment options for removing Xanthelasma, the fatty cholesterol deposits that form around the eyes. Pricing varies depending on the technique used and the number of lesions treated.

🔹 Option 1: Electrodessication (Microcautery)

  • First eyelid: £360 / £295*
  • Each additional eyelid: £95

Discounted retreatment: If you need a second or third treatment within 3 months of the first, we offer a 50% discount off the initial cost.
Example: 2 Xanthelasmas originally cost £390 → follow-up is £195.

🔸 Option 2: Full Surgical Removal

  • First Xanthelasma (up to 2cm): £595
  • Each additional Xanthelasma: £295

No multi-treatment discounts apply here, as recurrences typically occur in new locations and are considered fresh lesions.

Note: Full surgical removal is generally suitable for patients aged 45+ with some skin laxity on the eyelids. Stitch removal is included, though we can also provide a free stitch removal kit or advise your GP nurse.

*£295 price reflects deduction of £65 consultation discount

🧬 Mole Removal Pricing (Excludes Lab Costs*)

Moles are a common skin concern. We offer both shave excisions for surface-level moles and full excisions for deeper or more complex cases.

🔹 Shave Excision (Typical)

  • Single mole: £340 / £275 / £110
  • Multiple moles: As low as £55–£95 per mole (or even less)

🔸 Full Excision (Deeper or Larger Moles)

Required when the mole sits within the skin (not raised) or is larger/more complex.

  • Additional cost: £55–£165 per mole (up to 1cm)
  • Moles requiring skin flaps: Priced individually due to added time and complexity

*All moles should be sent to the lab. Please see the “Laboratory Costs” section above for details.

Face Mole Removal Pricing (Excludes Lab Costs*)

We frequently remove facial moles using shave excision, which is less invasive and has excellent cosmetic results. Most facial moles fall into this category.

Shave Excision (Typical)

  • Single face mole: £360 / £295 / £135
  • Multiple smaller moles: As low as £95 per mole

Full Excision (Occasional)

For larger or deeper face moles, full excision may be required:

  • Additional cost: £110–£165 unless the mole is very large

*Please refer to the Laboratory Costs section above for information on required lab testing.

🧴 Seborrhoeic Wart Removal (Excludes Lab Costs*)

Removing Seborrhoeic Warts is usually easy and straightforward. Pricing depends on size and location:

  • 1cm body wart: £295 / £220 / £55
  • 3cm body wart: £450 / £385 / £220
  • Face, breast, or delicate area: Usually up to £55 extra

For patients with multiple Seborrhoeic Warts, please refer to the section above on timed appointments, as these can offer significant savings.

* Laboratory investigations are often avoidable, especially for multiple warts. For single lesions or if the diagnosis is unclear, standard lab charges apply. See lab pricing above.

⚪ Milia Removal

Very small milia (around 1mm) are inexpensive and easy to remove. Pricing includes up to 3 milia:

  • £360 / £295 / £95 – for up to 3 small milia

Larger milia (2–4mm) present more like small cysts and may require additional care. Expect an extra charge of £55 to £135 depending on size and complexity.

Very large milia may require excision and suturing. In such cases, the cost structure will follow our cyst removal pricing.

For patients with multiple milia, we may recommend a timed appointment to allow removal of as many as possible within a fixed time frame — offering better value and efficiency.

🔴 Cherry Angiomas (Campbell de Morgan Spots)

These red spots typically respond well to Microcautery and are often removed inexpensively as an add-on during your clinic visit.

  • From £35 – for 1–2mm spots
  • £295 – if it’s the first treatment session, after consultation discount (for this you can get up to 5 small ones or 1-2 larger ones cauterised)
  • Higher if larger or more involved. Timed appointments (see above in page) strongly recommended for multiple lesions as significant discounts often apply.
  • If shave excision is required, please refer to mole pricing

🔵 Spider Veins (Face & Nose Only)

Spider veins also respond well to Microcautery. These can be treated during another procedure or as a standalone appointment.

  • £95-£195 – as an add-on
  • £295£395 – if it’s the first treatment session, after consultation discount for a small number of veins

🟡 Other Rare Skin Lesions

For less common skin issues, please book a consultation and we’ll give you tailored advice on treatment options and pricing.

Picture of Cherry angiomas – Campbell de Morgan spots.

Image of Cherry Angiomas also called Campbell-de-Morgan spots
Cherry Angiomas also called Campbell-de-Morgan spots

These usually respond well to Microcautery and we remove them inexpensively, usually as an add on during a clinic. The price starts at £40 for 1-2mm spots and only more if they are larger. If they require shave excision please look under mole prices.

Spider veins in the face and on the nose (not on body)

They respond well to treatment with Microcautery and can be added on (to other treatments) between £40 and £55 per spider vein. Again, if this is the first removal it is likely to cost £295 – £395 after consultation discount.

Other rarer lesions

Just contact us for a consultation and we can give advice on what can be done.

🧵 Suture / Stitch Removal

Unless quoted otherwise or already included in your treatment cost, suture (stitch) removal with TVSS is a flat £40.

Alternatively, we’re happy to provide a free suture removal kit and instructions at the time of your surgery. You can also contact your GP to assist with removal if more convenient.

🔍 Clinical Review After Surgery

If you need a review after your surgery, we will see you free of charge — especially if you’re experiencing side effects or have concerns. We genuinely want you to be happy with the outcome.

In the rare event further surgery is required, this is also free.

However, this applies only to the early stages of healing. Some types of lesions, like lipomas or cysts, have a small chance of recurrence. Others, like Xanthelasma, are more likely to return. We will explain these risks at your assessment appointment.

📌 Please note: Because these appointments are free, patients occasionally do not attend. If you miss a review, we may ask for a £35 rebooking fee to discourage no-shows and keep things running smoothly.

💉 Cortisone Injections

We provide Cortisone injections for a variety of conditions, including:

  • Hypertrophic scars
  • Joint pain
  • Other suitable inflammatory issues

Note: Cortisone injection prices do not qualify for the £60 consultation discount.

💰 Typical pricing:

  • Joint injection: £150
  • Hypertrophic scar injection: £195 per session
  • Course of 3 scar injections: £495

General Pricing Information

💷 Understanding Our Pricing

We show prices like this:

£300 / £235 / £80

Here’s what each figure means:

  • £300 – First lesion, with no prior consultation discount (it includes the cost of the consultation of £65).
  • £235 – First lesion with a £65 discount:
    • You’ve had a consultation within the last month for which you paid £65 and now this is what cost remains.
    • Or, you’re a returning patient after previous surgery with us and this is the price as you do not pay £65 for your appointment.
  • £80 – Each additional lesion (same visit), regardless of type.
*Exceptions apply for fixed-price procedures — these are clearly marked elsewhere.

🧾 What’s Included in the First Price?

The first and second prices always include a “standard charge”, which is typically £220. This covers:

  • Medical records stored for 10 years
  • Office and admin costs
  • Clinical supplies
  • Insurance and compliance (CQC)
  • Staff, sterilisation, and more

This charge is only applied once per visit — even if multiple lesions are removed.

📊 Example Costs (These are only for understanding the principle)

Number of Lesions New Patient Returning Patient
1 lesion £300 £235
2 lesions £380 £315
3 lesions £460 £395

Explanation of the list above:

So, in this case the standard charge is £220 and the cost of the lesion £80 (just like in the first example above where we explain the pricing structure). Thus, if you remove 2 lesions we only add another £80 and if you remove 3 lesions then we add £160. For returning patients, who do not pay for the consultation it is even cheaper.

🩺 Consultation Fee

  • A pre-surgical assessment costs £65, paid at the time of booking.
  • If you go ahead with treatment within 1 month, this fee is deducted from your surgery.
  • Returning patients don’t pay the consultation fee again — and still get the £65 discount.

💡 How TVVS Keeps Prices Down

We used to offer free consultations. However, over 80% of patients never booked treatment, which pushed up prices for everyone else.

Now we charge £65 for the pre-surgical assessment — but deduct it from your final surgery cost if you go ahead. This helps keep prices low for patients who are serious about having a procedure. If you wish a skin check or a more thorough discussion you can book a double appointment for £130. This is also the price for a medical consultation not resulting in any surgical work. Just ask.

Our philosophy: Surgery is expensive enough. Let’s not make it more expensive by running inefficiently.

  • We don’t waste appointment slots. We run a tightly scheduled clinic — no long gaps, no idle time.
  • We reduce no-shows. Our strict cancellation and rebooking policy helps ensure attendance and fairness.
  • We don’t absorb lateness costs. If you arrive late and miss your slot, the fee is still due — just like missing a flight. Others can’t subsidise missed appointments. We recommend arriving with the same buffer you’d use for travel.
  • We minimise admin costs. All payments are made in advance — no chasing, no invoices.
  • We may not have a private receptionist. We use shared reception facilities — no frills, but we pass the savings on to you.
  • We keep assessments focused. Forms are completed online beforehand and stored in your medical record. Your appointment is typically 10-20 minutes, with both the doctor and senior nurse.

Prefer more flexibility, concierge service, or long surgeon discussions, do not want to watch videos beforehand or do not want to fill out online forms?

You might be better suited to a traditional private hospital such as the Spire. You’ll get more flexibility and pay 3–4 times more for it, much like business class standard vs a flexible airline ticket. If you prefer affordable, efficient care without compromising clinical quality, we’d love to see you at TVVS.

Our goal: Premium experience. Affordable price.

📌 General Principles of Price Calculation

Fees quoted are for:

  • Doctor and nurse time
  • Surgery and use of the procedure room
  • All medical materials used
  • Any necessary follow-up (excluding suture removal)

You may deduct £65 from your quoted price if you book surgery within 4 weeks of your consultation.

🔒 Fixed Price Surgery vs Bespoke Pricing

✔ Fixed Price Surgery

We offer fixed pricing for procedures that are simple, low-risk, and rarely require escalation. Examples include:

  • Lipomas on arms, legs, abdomen, or lower back
  • Xanthelasmas (cholesterol deposits around the eyes)
  • Earlobe repairs
  • Small skin tag removals
  • Milia removals
  • Wart removals
  • Small mole excisions (5mm or less) on the body
  • Shave excisions on the body (and usually the face, but not breasts)

We also price larger lesions on the body very competitively.

⚖️ Bespoke Pricing

Some lesions are more complex and may require:

  • Longer procedure time
  • Advanced techniques
  • Referral to a colleague (in some cases)
Despite this, we are still significantly more affordable than private hospitals — we often say:

Examples of bespoke cases include:

  • Lesions on breasts
  • Lesions on hands or feet (which may require a specialist)
  • Deeper or larger cysts on the upper back and neck
  • Giant lipomas
  • Generally, anything requiring full excision on the face or neck including forehead

🔄 Why Is It Cheaper When I Have More Surgery?

The price for the first lesion includes a standard charge, typically of £220, which covers all the fixed costs of your visit:

  • Creating and storing your medical records (6–10 years)
  • Preparation for surgery
  • Anaesthetic administration
  • Writing your operation report
  • Insurance, overheads, and regulatory compliance

Once that’s covered, removing additional lesions is quicker and easier — so we only charge the reduced rate shown as the third price.

🧾 And Finally…

We do our best to keep this information accurate and consistent across the site and your quote. If you notice anything unclear or inconsistent, please let us know.

However, if your quote follows what’s outlined on this page, it is correct — and represents a fair and professional fee we are unable to alter.

💰 Why Is It Cheaper to Have More Lesions Removed?

Please note: the quotes below do not include the cost of laboratory examination, which is often not required for Lipomas.

The first lesion is typically 2–3 times more expensive than any additional lesions removed in the same session. This is because we must account for:

  • Changeover time between procedures
  • Thorough documentation and clinical notes
  • Room preparation and sterilisation
  • Staffing and theatre costs
  • Insurance and long-term medical record storage (6–10 years)

Subsequent lesions can be removed immediately afterwards, with much less overhead — so the cost per lesion is lower. A common example is removing multiple Lipomas from the arm or leg.

📈 How We Calculate the Price (Example: 5 Lipomas on the Arms)

Let’s say the first Lipoma on your arm is £340. With the consultation discount applied, that drops to £275.

Each additional Lipoma on the arm is typically just £110 (based on straightforward cases, up to 3cm).

🔢 Example Quote (5 Lipomas)

£275 + £110 + £110 + £110 + £110 = £715

That’s an average of £143 per Lipoma — with no compromise on care quality.

*If Lipomas are sent for lab analysis, the additional laboratory costs (see lab section) will apply.
